NOTE: This recipe was made with a 5.8qt basket style Cosory air fryer. If you’re using a different air fryer, you may need to adjust the cooking time slightly. We always recommend checking on the recipe starting at 3 minutes before the suggested time in case your air fryer cooks a little faster.
Important Tips for Best Results
Soggy Fries: Wipe off any excess oil so that your carrot fries don’t get soggy. You can use olive oil spray instead of regular olive oil if you’re scared of overdoing it. In addition, you can add some cornstarch to soak up any excess oil without making them too dry. Alternative Oils: Avocado oil can withstand high heat, making it a great option for air frying. Sticking: To prevent your carrot fries from sticking to the Air Fryer basket, we recommend laying a piece of parchment paper down! Plus, parchment paper makes cleaning up a lot easier! Doneness: You’ll know your Air Fryer Carrot Fries are done when they are fork-tender. If they are not done, you can cook for additional minutes as needed! Size: Make all the carrot pieces the same size for best results. If you have uneven carrot pieces, they won’t all cook at the same time.
