WHY YOU WILL LOVE THIS AIR FRIED EGG RECIPE

You will love this recipe because it is a healthy breakfast option that can be made to order on a busy weekday morning. It is a favorite recipe that I make for my family that can be customized with different herbs and spices. This is a delicious breakfast idea to make after a fun kid’s sleepover or a night of backyard camping. What a simple recipe this dish is whether you want eggs for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:

2 Eggs Olive oil non-stick spray Coarse sea salt and ground black pepper to taste

Optional Additional Flavors: Cut block cheese, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, Italian seasoning or bacon bits.

How to Make Fried Egg in the Air Fryer:

Optional Additional Toppings: Chopped chives, shredded cheese, hot sauce, a dollop of cream cheese or sour cream, fresh parsley or cilantro. Substitutions: Use refined coconut oil, vegetable oil, canola oil or avocado oil spray instead of olive oil spray. Rub ramekin dish with butter instead of non-stick cooking spray. I make this recipe in my Cosori 5.8 qt. air fryer. Depending on your air fryer, size and wattages, cooking time may need to be adjusted 1-2 minutes.

What can I serve with this dish?

This is a dish that goes with lots of yummy foods. Bacon, sausage or breakfast ham will be savory and delicious. Egg toast with a cold glass of milk, avocado toast, a bowl of fresh fruit or hashbrowns will all complete this meal.

Can I store leftover eggs?

Allow eggs to cool completely prior to storing them. Place them in an airtight container in your refrigerator for 1-2 days. I would not recommend freezing the eggs because they will end up with a lot of frost on them and once, they are thawed out will become mushy and inedible.

Is there a certain type of egg I have to use?

No there isn’t. There are different types of eggs that can be found in your local grocery store, local farmers market or vegetable stand. Duck eggs, goose eggs and turkey eggs are all types of eggs you can use to make this dish but cooking time will vary because they are all larger than a chicken egg.

What other ways can I make eggs?

Eggs can be made several different ways. Eggs can be scrambled, made into individual omelets or a skillet frittata to cut and share with the entire family. Eggs can also be hard boiled for quick snacks or made into creamy deviled eggs. MORE AIR FRYER RECIPES:
